Pomodoro Method on ClickUp : Complete Guide

Today we're going to talk a little about how the pomodoro method can help you to be more productive and accomplish your tasks in a faster, more focused and consistent way, and how ClickUp can speed up this method even more. Well, the pomodoro method is nothing more than measuring the time of a given task that you are currently carrying out. What makes it different is the way you do it with the pomodoro.

This method is time management based on 25-minute periods (pomodoros) of focused study or work with 5 minutes of rest after each pomodoro, but you can customize it in your own way. In addition, after 4 blocks you will take a longer rest break which can vary between 15 and 30 minutes.

Pomodoro Method: How can ClickUp accelerate this focus?

The ClickUp project management tool has a time management method integrated into its platform, so you can save time by not having to leave the screen to run a pomodoro app on another screen, since within the task you need to complete you can trigger the timer within the task itself and, as a bonus, the time you spent focused on it will be recorded.

I'll show you how to do it:

First step: Check that ClickApp tracking is activated on your ClickUp, click on the three dots next to your space, then Space Settings and All Space Settings.

Second step: Click on the ClickApps option

Third step: Check if Time Tracking is active, if not enable it

Step four: Then create a task in your ClickUp and click on Tracked timeso you can keep track of your focused time;

Add the time you want to do your block of work:

Save and then click on the button next to the time to start the time:

Fifth step: You can keep track of your breaks and tracked time in Activity, which is inside your own task on the right-hand side:

That's it! I hope you enjoyed this tip on saving time and knowing how many hours or minutes you're taking for each task and getting the best out of it by saving time, being more productive and more focused!
