**Content:**

At ClickUp, our mission is to transform the way teams work — making processes more fluid, efficient and intuitive. Today, we present an innovation that will make your way of working evolve even further: the **Connected AI**, an advanced feature within ClickUp Brain.

## 1. What is Connected AI?

Connected AI doesn’t just search for information — it connects data to deliver **actionable insights** and accelerate your decision-making. It centralizes content — files, tasks, documents and integrations — making them accessible in a single environment.

> “Connected AI centralizes your data, making it easily searchable and accessible.”

This centralization eliminates the frustration of information silos and can multiply your productivity by 10 times.

### 2. The challenge of fragmented workflows

Today, we use several applications (communication, management, storage) generating silos that interrupt the workflow. This causes the so-called “toggle tax”: switching between apps consumes up to **9% of annual working time**

In addition, **30% of the working day is spent searching for information** dispersed across different platforms.

Connected AI eliminates this bottleneck by integrating everything into a single space, with real-time search and instant access to the data that really matters.

### 3. The evolution of AI at work

- Before 2023: punctual AI, disconnected from workflows.
- **ClickUp Brain 1.0 (Jan/2024)**: brought initial integration with tasks, docs and dashboards
- **Connected AI / Brain MAX (Jul/2025)**: now, a contextual AI that understands the entire work context and connects external apps without friction

### 4. Technology behind Connected AI

FeatureBenefit**Real-time update**Reflects changes instantly — without delays**Effortless integration**Connects Drive, Dropbox, GitHub, etc. no manual settings**Privacy guaranteed**Restricted access to what the user sees; data is not used to train external models**Deep contextual awareness**Understands tasks, docs and their relationships**Advanced functionalities**Summaries, reports, insights and automations “with just one click”---

### 5. Key gains in practice

1. **Less information overload**
    — Quickly find the right data and turn complex reports into insights in seconds.
2. **Instant and intelligent search**
    — Ask “marketing budget summary” and get the answer with up-to-date data.
3. **Simplify workflows**
    — Integrate Google Drive, GitHub and Confluence directly into ClickUp, without switching platforms.
4. **Reduced costs and complexity**
    — Replace multiple point tools with a single, secure solution.
5. **Versatility and security**
    — Advanced search in internal and external files, with full respect for access levels.

---

### 6. The future without manual labor

Connected AI represents a new work paradigm: less effort searching and more focus on **creative, strategic and high-value results**.

Imagine a scenario where you no longer waste time searching for documents or switching between apps — AI does this for you. It’s this vision that ClickUp builds with Connected AI…

### Conclusion

ClickUp’s Connected AI goes beyond the search assistant — it’s the architecture that converts fragmented knowledge into productive intelligence. Eliminates silos, reduces costs, speeds up decisions and frees up your time for truly strategic activities.
